Will these be real or some good fakes?
Author Last Post

Hi Luis, First I cannot say positively if your 3 stamps are genuine or fake. I have a lot of the Oficial perfins but have not completed a study on them. At first glance however all 3 look to be original Type 1 perfins. The "C" has 7 holes and are straight at the top and bottom. The cross bar in the "A" dips but not too far. Also, the surcharged stamps with the perfin is much scarcer then the basic unsurcharged stamps. There is a study in one of the past El Quetzal issues that you can search for that will provide some basic pointers in identifying many of the fakes. - Glen

Hello everyone, I hope All are well.

I have these stamps and I don't know if they will be original, I have taken measurements of the surcharge and also of the perforations and it seems that everything is fine. On the back they have a signature or something like that, do any of you know about these? What about the signatures?

Thank you in advance and greetings to everyone.
